Training Objectives: To develop a methodical approach to vehicle inspection and familiarisation, and to address the heath and safety and legal responsibilities of drivers.

The VIF course is for low mileage, occasional users or pool car drivers.

It addresses the driver's legal obligations and everyday duties in maintaining and running a vehicle, and establishes a methodical approach to checking a vehicle for roadworthiness. In addition, the course encourages attendees to develop a sense of responsibility for the vehicle they are driving

The course is also an ideal way for a company to ensure that employees have been properly inducted on the vehicles they will be driving in order to carry out their work-related duties.
